October 18 - October 24

Another fabulous week in blogland!! I had such a great time visiting and seeing such lovely creations! I have been so swamped with life that I've gone from first thing to last thing every day, sitting down to my computer about 10:3 each night for the first time in the day - that's just unheard of for me! So browsing and seeing such lovely creations really was a sweet way to end the day! I had over 60 links saved in my Favorites folder this week!  It was very hard to narrow it down to my ten favorite.

Click the link to visit each creator's blog/gallery and view their creation in it's Full Glory!! And since you're there, might as well leave them a little note letting them know what you think! Please do this - as women, we have such power to lift others up. I can't figure out how to link the actual photo using the new editor in Blogger.

Beth Matson created this simple but eye-catching card! It features Kraft paired with White and Black. Being a little crazy over Kraft, it had to be in my Top Ten. Just a little touch of black gingham, another favorite, sealed it's place!

Dawn at DOstamping posted this beautiful card as part of the Tour de Freaks blog hop. I always love that hop when they have one up. She used pine cones which I've been obsessing over for the last week or so. I need to get a pine cone stamp! When you visit, you'll see her CAS card using the stamps and then her "stepped up" version. Both are wonderful!!

There are so many things that just took my breath away on this card. The colors she used captured my attention right away - just gorgeous! The sentiment she featured is so beautiful and elegant - perfect with the paper! And she used scrumptious embellishments that really just finished this card off perfectly!

Another blog hop that I really enjoyed was the one in honor of Breast Cancer sponsored by Verve Visual. There are a few women that I am currently praying for as they battle this disease and so with each creation, another prayer was quickly said for them. What really made this card stand out to me was the embossing and the dimensional flower!

This card created by Cathleen is just exquisite! All the cream and gold makes an elegant card -- just enough gold to be elegant! Her snowflake - gorgeous with the simple pearl! All the layering really makes it special too!

Ann used one of my favorite papers of all time on this card and paired it with a gorgeous quote and some darling butterflies! It's also really crisp and clean at the same time which is something that really draws me!

I have another scene card on my list this week - it has me just shaking my head in AWE!!! There's soooo much detail on this --- but it's still really crisp and clean too! And oh - the dimension!!!! You've GOT to see it!! When you visit - you'll also get to see a second card in her post that is such a great CAS card!

I first found this blog from a reply she posted at SCS in the Prismacolor Chatter thread. I love the look of colored pencil and she is a MASTER at coloring with pencils! You can see she used some black gingham as well and it's one of my favorite things on this card! But the coloring is the true genius of it!!

This card is absolutely FABULOUS! I'm not sure exactly what color of blue this is but it's gorgeous paired with the cream and the matte gold. And then the little bit of shabby-chicness......*sigh*

And my #1 card this week is by the oh so talented Linda Duke. These are the colors in my living room soooo - love the color scheme. It uses a vintage image, and has lots of flourishes, and flowers, and ribbon and stickpins and buttons.....
It's truly GORGEOUS!!! An absolute work of art!!

As always, if you find something that you think is worthy of making the list, then please email me with a direct link --- you can find some info over there in the sidebar. And of course, if you don't want to be mentioned here or have a problem that I cropped your photo to share here, then please let me know and it will be removed. I certainly don't want to offend you!

Thanks so much to ALL stampers and papercrafters out there that share their lovely talents with us. Thanks to those of you that read this blog and share it with others!

May you have a beautiful week!

October 10 - October 17

It's been a few weeks since I've had time to actually get any sort of blog browsing done - and certainly no time to sit down and re-sort through them and pick my favorites! I had a little bit of free time this weekend and so spent a little bit of time working through my Reader. It was tough to narrow it down to my Top 10 - I think I've said that every post and don't really see that it will change!

Click the link to visit each creator's blog/gallery and view their creation in it's Full Glory!! And since you're there, might as well leave them a little note letting them know what you think! I can't figure out how to link the actual photo using the new editor in Blogger.

10. I've always been a fan of quotes - Jessica Diedrich is too and I loved her card this week that featured this wonderful quote - it's such a true sentiment and a reminder that I think we all need!

 9. Deb Felts created a wonderful card with a gorgeous peacock on it! The bright bold colors really grabbed my attention. Even though I don't normally use colors this bright, I am always drawn to them!
 8. Dawn Burnworth is quickly becoming one of my favorite stamping artists. I truly love how she ALWAYS keeps the focus on the image and the embellishments are just supporting details. This scene that she created just made me catch my breath!
7. I first discovered Lynn Weiss' blog waaay back when we were in Sisterhood of the Blogging Sisters 3 together. She has always been a favorite! This card is so elegant and rich! Lots of layers and textures!

6. This clean and simple card by Krystie Lee really caught my eye! I love the plain base, the shadow stamped background and the simple bit of twine!

 5. Julia Stanton has a vintage shabby style that also has such a crisp and clean feel to it! Not only did I just love that vintage caroler -- but the gingham ribbon and gem swirls pretty much put me over the edge!
4. Oh my - Faith Hofrichter created a card that should be framed in a shadow box! The pretty birds and then the way she mounted them just is so pretty, elegant, beautiful!
 3. Dana Grothaus was a new blog that I discovered this week. I just loved the torn paper panels at the top of her card - they are such a terrific accent for the great and simple sentiment!
 2. Dawn Burnworth's card honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month really had an impact with me. There are several women at our church dealing with this right now and I just pray that they have strength and healing.
 1. My Favorite card this week - Harriet Skelly never fails to create a card that is simple and so STUNNING! This card literally took my breath away when I saw it earlier in the week! I can not wait to try this technique myself!
