September 13 - September 19

It was another terrific week for creations in blogland!! Here are my Top Ten favorites from this week! You can click the pictures or the link to visit each creator's blog/gallery and see their creation in it's Full Glory!! And since you're there, might as well leave them a little note letting them know what you think!

It was tough to fill the number 10 spot -- there were so many terrific cards that caught my eye! But Tenia Nelson's bold and unique color combo just kept pulling me back! Black and white is classic and the pop of green literally makes me catch my breath! I totally want to try this color combo!

Anita Hovey created a totally cute "scrappy" style card using her Cricut. And the envelope --- continues the theme!

Deb Felts created this beauty! Her coloring skills just blew me away!! I feel like I could just pick up that apple and take a big, sweet, juicy bite! Of course, she has a terrific way of using layers and embellishments to pull together a truly beautiful card!

I loved this card from Laura Fredrickson! Polished stone is such a great way to create backgrounds! I loved the colors she used and it was a great reminder to use this technique! There is so much going on in her card -- yet it still looks so crisp and CAS at the same time!

When I joined the SBS group, I was so lucky to end up in the group with Cindy Beach. She is absolutely one of my favorite stampers! She is pretty much ALL Stampin' Up and creates masterpieces!! She shared a Christmas card this week with a unique color combination that I would've never thought of --- but ohmymy!!! It's a stunner! Totally chic and elegant!!

My friend Heather Schlatter amazes me every week with her creations -- but this week -- she left me awed and speechless with this creation as the Pink Cat Guest Designer! Her Halloween card is so creative and so genius!! You absolutely MUST go see it! You will be blown away!

Julia Stainton's card is full of words and I love the message. When I saw this card in the early part of the week, it was exactly what I needed to be reminded of! Focusing on the blessings in my life has so much more power than dwelling on the things that aren't!

Geny Cassidy created this stunner! The bold, graphic, modern design captures the eye! I literally felt like I could stare at this card forever! And pink flowers just call out to my soul!!

Natasha created this card - and sketch - for the Clean & Simple blog -- it's Fall to Layout 60. Clean & Simple is my favorite style! She has lots of wow factor though with the strip of gems and the leaf really is the focal point!

I saw this card on the 2Sketches4You blog as the card of the week and it's my favorite for this week as well (the fact that it's a baby card *might* have given it a slight advantage!). Jose created it and I had never been to her blog before. What a treasure to have found!!! I explored a bit and it wasn't long before I had added her blog to my reader!

As always, if you find something that you think is worthy of making the list, then please email me with a direct link --- you can find some info over there in the sidebar. And of course, if you don't want to be mentioned here or have a problem that I cropped your photo to share here, then please let me know and it will be removed. I certainly don't want to offend you!
Thanks so much to ALL stampers and papercrafters out there that share their lovely talents with us. Thanks to those of you that read this blog and share it with others!

May you have a beautiful week!

September 6 - September 12

I had wanted to share my favorites from the blog world and while I've had good intentions of getting it started every week --- it never happened.

But this week I just told myself I would Make It Happen!

Some weeks I have tons of time for browsing, others not so much! This was a limited week but as always there were beautiful creations out there. I pretty much love everything that I see but for the sake of brevity, I have to limit it. It's tempting to go with twenty -- but that's just a little too much! So it's the Top Ten - my favorites from the week. You can click the pictures or the link to visit each creator's blog/gallery and see their creation in it's Full Glory!! And since you're there, might as well leave them a little note letting them know what you think!

Eva Dobilas' Friends with FLAIR card caught my eye with the bold color combo she used as well as the terrific layout. That striped ribbon is just FABULOUS!!!

Wendy Kastner created a really rad card using the new Skater Jack image from 2RedBananas. I am in awe of this card - the sentiment is inspired and the masculine touches are just great!!

Lindsay Dyer created a really sweet card with a Halloween flair - it's Totally Witchin'! You'll also get a bonus on this post because you'll see her Harry Potter card using images from The Greeting Farm too - which is - magical (pun intended!)

Rebecca Ednie created a shabby chic Marriage card that is so soft and sweet. It definitely has a romantic feel and the big scalloped edges make it beautiful and unique! Her cards always lots of details that capture my attention!

Heather Schlatter's Etsy Challenge card this week had me at the first peek! She always gives a little snippet peek at the very top of her post and I fell for it right away! It's a halloween card that's not heavy on the orange and black. Her coloring is Amazing!!!

Silke Ledlow's Happy Holidays card is breathtaking. She has such a way of letting the main image BE the focus of the card. Wait until you see the scrumptious poinsetta she created!!

Eva Dobilas' Happy Birthday card is SPECTACULAR!! You really must check it out! I love the scrappy style of it - the dictionary paper, the punching - and her fabulous flower too!

Nancy Morgan's Divine Design card was a treat. I don't normally read her blog but happened upon it by chance - I think it was as if God led me there - just to see this message from him. Her layout is beautiful!

Harriet Skelly is one of my favorite card artists - her Clean and Simple cards are just right in line with my personal style! Her Red Holiday Wishes card is absolutely STUNNING!

Rebecca Ednie's Adirondack Chair card is my favorite from this week. The soft colors, the soft colors, the simple but lovely layout with the perfect accents. Ah! I so wish I could find that chair, and just listen to the ocean and the wind and all the sounds of nature!
